Tulloch Wines
The Tulloch family have been producing outstanding wines from the fertile soils of the Hunter Valley since 1895. Now in its 113th year the Tulloch name lives on as a founding wine producer of the Hunter region, continuing to strive for excellence in the production of premium Hunter varietals and styles.
Still located in Pokolbin's viticultural heartland where the story began, Tulloch remains as the true heritage of the Hunter Valley.
We welcome you to the Tulloch experience and know that you will enjoy the fruits of our labour, produced with passion and commitment for over 100 years.
James Halliday awards Tulloch 5 STARS FOR THE 3RD CONSECUTIVE YEAR in his 2009 Australian Wine Companion and names Tulloch in his 'BEST WINERIES OF THE REGION' HUNTER VALLEY.
"The return of the classic Dry Red and Private Bin Dry Red labels brings back memories of the great wines of the 1950's and 60's, and is a sign of the continuing resurgence of this brand," James Halliday from his 2009 Australian Wine Companion.
This is the 3rd consecutive year James Halliday has awarded Tulloch Wines a coveted 5 STARS "Outstanding winery capable of producing wines of the highest calibre."

JYT Sangiovese
The JYT Sangiovese is one of our most sought after reds and returns to the cellar door again for a short period of time. It is has sweet ripe berry flavours with a prominent, long smooth finish.
Sangiovese is a red Italian grape variety, most famous for its use in Italy for Chianti. It has typically proven quite a difficult grape variety in the Hunter, with a tendency to ripen late. The Sangiovese is planted on the JYT home vineyard at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain range in the heart of Pokolbin.
