The Tulloch Cellar Door & Function Venue is a stunning $4 million facility located in the heart of picturesque Pokolbin. Set amongst the vineyards at the foot of the Brokenback Mountain range, the building combines contemporary design with historical charm. It is our aim to provide you with all the detail you need now so that when the day gets closer it is simply a matter of you enjoying the most important day of your lives together.
At Tulloch we work with you to ensure our beautiful wine country setting and friendly hospitality makes your special day seamless and memorable. With catering provided by one of the Hunters premier restaurants, The Cellar and wines from the historical award-winning Tulloch range, there is a wedding package to suit all tastes and desires. Framed by gardens overlooking the vineyards and stunning established gum trees, the spacious, fully air-conditioned function rooms seats up to 140 people and is set against a brilliant sandstone feature wall. The landscaped garden and pergola area provide a romantic and intimate setting for your wedding ceremony , pre-dinner canapes or a cocktail party, while the superb cellar door sales area with its large balcony and views across the vines can also be utilized for pre-function drinks. Our aim at Tulloch Wines is to exceed your expectations and to create a unique wedding tailored to your specific needs. In line with this, we offer a selection of wedding packages or alternatively you can customise your own package with the assistance of our Wedding Coordinator. As an added bonus if you hold your reception at Tulloch Wines, there is no additional charge to use our grounds for your wedding ceremony. Food & Beverage packages start from $135/ head. |
'Private Bin' Pokolbin Dry Red Shiraz 
NEW VINTAGE RELEASE: The 2007 Private Bin Pokolbin Dry Red Shiraz continues Tulloch's tradition of producing premium quality, old vine Shiraz from the Hunter Valley under this label. This wine was the iconic Australian wine of its time, enjoying a reputation that was second to none. As the late Len Evans remembered in a Gourmet Traveller article in 2006, "At the end of the 60's, Grange was the same price as Tulloch's Private Bin (a classic Hunter red)." The third release of this wine since the resurrection of the famous old label in 2005, has once again been highly anticipated following the sell out of the 2006 vintage. The 'Private Bin' is produced in small quantities and released exclusively through the Tulloch Cellar Door only. The 2007 vintage pays hommage to the late Harry Gena Brown (1918-1999), who worked from a young age for the legendary J.K. Walker M.B.E. in his Sydney, Rhinecastle Cellars. Harry later purchased the wholesale portion of Rhinecastle Cellars, which he built into the well known and respected, H.G. Brown Wine Company. |
